Being impatient New Yorkers, we got sick of waiting and decided to start Flat Rate Cleaners. Pickup and delivery dry cleaning at one price for any garment? Why not? In addition to first-rate dry cleaning, we also offer wash and fold laundry service and business shirt launder and press service. Our wash and fold service is unique in that we charge by bag and not per pound. Why? We were tired of guessing how much our clothes weighed and how much it would cost us to have them washed. We think in bags and not pounds. Don’t you? We also offer comforter, down garment and leather garment cleaning at low flat-rate prices.
How do we keep our prices so low? Our operation is very efficient and we have eliminated costly overhead like paying rent in Manhattan. As a result we are able to pass on the savings.
